How we got here
A few milestones from four decades of growth.
Founded as a 40-bed community clinic
Opened with a single general practice wing and a small maternity unit serving Ashford's growing population.
Emergency department opens
A dedicated, round-the-clock emergency wing was added, along with the hospital's first imaging suite.
Specialist wings expand
Cardiology, neurology and orthopedics became full standalone departments with dedicated specialist teams.
210-bed campus, fully modernized
A campus-wide renovation brought private recovery rooms, a larger lab and same-day diagnostic imaging.
